Mighty empowers Pro subscribers in the US, UK, and Canada who have activated the Credit/debit card payment processing option to select who pays the transaction processing fees: you (the business) or your customer. The rates customers will paid are laid out below:

Canada3.5% + $0.30
New Zealand1.7% + $0.30
United Kingdom1.7% + 20p
United States3.5% + $0.30

To select the appropriate option for your business, take the following steps:

  1. Open Mighty (and ensure you are logged into your account)
  2. Tap the Settings button (in the top right corner)
  3. Under the Payment Methods section, press “Credit/debit card”
  4. Press the fee option (under the “Manage payments account” button)
  5. Select your desired setting from the dropdown menu from the following:
    • Business pays — this is the default option, and will require you to pay the per-transaction rate for your country.
    • Customer pays — this option a fee to your client’s service total, which they will pay in addition to the invoice total if using credit/debit card.
      • Note: The platform fee will automatically be communicated to your clients in the invoice notes, in addition to in their payment checkout flow.

The fee option you select will be applied to all future invoices, as well as all prior invoices that have not yet been paid.
